Musings from a Cafe in Itaewon…

In January I finished the manuscript I had been writing since June. I had started working on it just before moving back to Seoul.

It’s different from what I had attempted to do with Hearts on the Scale, but I knew one thing—it was fully mine. I’m grateful for all the words and thoughts that came before—I wouldn’t be here without them. But it’s an interesting thing when I think about the trajectory of my writing career. It’s not all warm and fuzzy moments—but it’s not all cringe either. So—growth.

Aside from all this, life has been pretty steady.

I’ve already started mapping something new to pour myself into.
